Introduction

A habitat is the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism. There are many different types habitats on earth and each has its own unique characteristics. Habitats are very important for the survival of all living things and learning about them will help you better understand why they are so special and unique. 

Process

Your job is to learn as much as you can about your habitat! Click on your specific habitat and use the resources to fill out your graphic organizer. Be sure to read each part of the graphic organizer and fill it out completely. You will use this to create your finished project!

Evaluation

Now that you've researched your habitat use the interesting facts from your graphic organizer and all that you've learned and create either a poster, diorama, or digital presentation to present all your information to your teacher and the other students in your class! Be sure to include all of the important characteristics for your habitat. You will be orally presenting your project so make sure you and your partner have a script written out to read off of while your presenting!

Conclusion

Great job with your project and presentation! Now that you've learned a lot about some of the different habitats you'll be learning about all the amazing plants and animals in those habitats and the things that do to survive!
