This web quest is being used tonight as an example of the assignment due in this class on April 3, 2017.
Task
The task for this web quest would normally be an online assignment where the students click on hyper links to access resources for the task; however, since most of you do not bring a laptop to class on a regular basis, I will supply the resources for the task.
During our Parking Lot review we talked about using picture books in order to teach different styles of writing. You will work in small groups to complete this activity.
1. You will be given the following resources: instructions, picture books, a type of writing.
2. In your group you will review the instructions and develop a brief (3 - 5 minute) lesson to present in this class.

Evaluation
The class will use index cards to give you feedback on your mini lesson.
Conclusion
After all presentations have been made, you will return to your group and spend a few minutes reflecting on your lesson, the comments you received from your peers and what you would do differently if you repeated this process. You will then report out to the class.
