Introduction
This Webquest has been designed to be created in our 5th period( 52 minute) class over the period Wednesday, April 19th - May 11th, 2017 with the final product due on Friday, May 12, 2017.
The purpose of the assignment is to conduct a research assignment (based upon a text of your choosing)and utilizing technology and functionality to embed images, hyperlinks, video and audio in your final product. This is an alternative to the standard approach of writing an essay.
You will present your final Webquest to the class which will be done over the course of Friday, May 12th and Monday, May 15th, 2017. This is your final project for English 12 Honors.

5th Period Instructions:
- Students will base their WebQuest on their chosen piece of literature which can be from our class readings or a selection of their choosing.
- All students will include tabs for:
- About the author
- Characters (a listing with background on main characters)
- Critical Vocabulary
- Synopsis of the story
- Why you chose this piece of literature/film/song, etc.
Evaluation
Mrs. Vipond will distribute the rubric in hard copy.
Conclusion
Please summarize your Webquest with an explanation of why you chose the piece you did.

Your projects are due by Friday, May 12th, 2017 and you will present your final Webquest to the class.
This is a major assignment and is in lieu of a final exam (if you are eligible).
