Task

You'll learn different things how human who wants to change their fate by depending on other being but in fact they can do by themselves. it's not because they cannot do it, but they just don't know how to make everything works.

2. Put your mind on it and figure out what's actually going on to Patrick and the elf. Do you think that ELVES exist? Judge your side to agree or disagree!

3. Your third task will be in a group task in which you guys have to make a poster about ELVES!

FIRST

Read the reading passage "Who did Patrick's homework?

NOW

After you reading it, make sure you understand the whole story. Rewrite specifically the story and tell about the characters of Patrick and the Elf.

  • Do you feel happy to see Patrick work day and night to do his homework?

  • Do you feel happy knowing that Patrick could do his homework?

  • Do you believe that he is an elf??  

  • Who did actually do Patrick's homework?

NEXT

Pick a side! You must answer the following questions in a 2-3 paragraph response (typed, Times New Roman, 12 point font):

  • Do you think that patrick did his homweork himself?

  • Do you believe that the "ELVES" exist?

  • Which side do you believe, exist or not? Why?

  • Print this paper and turn it in to your teacher before moving on to the third stage of this WebQuest.

FINALLY

You have already done your research and chosen a side. Now, it is time to defend what you believe in!  You are to work with your team (to be assigned by your teacher based on your choices in stage 2) to create your poster about elves.

You must meet the following requirements to receive full credit for your work: 

  • Each team must make their own poster. 

  • Make sure your name is on the back of your sign!

  • You may not use any vulgarity on your sign.  

  • Your poster  must be written neatly and decorated  well

  • Include a catchy phrase of some sort on your poster to catch the readers' attention!
