Introduction
Hi Class!
Today we are going to learn how plants grow!
Task
Can you imagine a world without plants? Everywhere you look there is a plant to see. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Today, we are going to learn how plants grow and grow one ourselves!
Process
In groups of 2, you will learn the steps plants take in order to grow.
1) Pick up the supplies you will need before beginning. You will need a flower pot, soil, and a seed.
2) Place 3/4 of your soil into your flower pot.
3) Place the seen on top of your soil.
4) Place remaining soil on top of your seed.
5) Water your plant with water provided by the teacher.
6) Place your flower pot in the window seal.
7) Watch it grow over the next 6 weeks!
While growth is taking place, make sure you take a picture of your plant every day.
Be sure to measure the height every day using your ruler, as well, and record it in your journal.
