This Webquest is designed to introduce the concept of elapsed time and familiarize students with three different strategies for solving elapsed time problems: the t-chart strategy, using a mountains, hills, and rocks number line, and the Z strategy.

Students watch several videos and practice the strategies. Once they have practiced the strategies, they take a small quiz on ExploreLearning .com to ensure that they truly understand elapsed time.

Then they play a few games to help them continue practicing the skill. Finally they complete the evaluation. Happy Learning!
