Basketball

Basketball is a great recreational sport where people can play everywhere from a gym to an outdoor park. You don't need much to play other than a basketball, a court, and a couple of people. It’s a fun game that also teaches discipline, collaboration, and sportsmanship. In order for everyone around the world to learn the sport of basketball and be confident in playing in any pick-up game, I need your help.

You and your group of 4 will teach kids all over the world to enjoy this great game of basketball by being experts in the following roles: the dribbler, the shooter, the passer, and the ref.

The Dribbler- will be an expert in dribbling. They will know all the techniques, hand position, and dribbling drills to become a great dribbler.

The Shooter- will be an expert in shooting. They will know the technique, hand and feet position, and shooting drills to become a accurate shooter.

The passer- will be an expert in passing. They will know all variations of passing, techniques, and passing drills to become a precise passer.

The Ref- will be an expert in the rule book. They will be able share 10 important rules of a pick-up game and demonstrate a violation.

You and your group of exports will teach kids all over the word or this class how to confident play a fun game of basketball at any moment.

Students will be put into teams of 5 and play a quick game to 7 points. They will be expected to show teamwork characteristics and offer praise to one another when teamwork is being shown.

Teacher will monitor students as they play basketball and watch who represents the listed characteristics of teamwork and count how many times each students praises another.
