Introduction
Task
You will do the essential question shown on the introduction screen. Then you are going to make a foldable all about elements, compounds, and mixtures. When everyone is finished we are going to play a 15 question kahoot to evaluate your knowledge on elements, compounds and mixtures.
Process
- Essential Question
- Log in to your school email account and go to google docs.
- Type the essential question and answer it on a clean doc.
- When you are done, email this doc to Mrs. Strickland.
- Sit quietly and wait for further instructions.
- Foldable
- You will receive a clean sheet of copy paper.
- Fold this paper hot dog style.
- Cut it as we will demonstrate with the example.
- Title it as we have.
- On the inside of the foldable, set yours up as we have.
- Look in your book for examples and definitions.
- When you have done the required criteria, decorate it as you please.
- Place this someplace where you will be able to refer back to it.
- Kahoot
- Take out your phones, go to one of the computers, or use the laptops and log in to Kahoot.
- (You know the rest of the drill.)

Evaluation
Based on the results of the Kahoot, we will be able to tell what you have learned.
