Conclusion
The Island of Guam is the largest U.S. Island Territory in Micronesia. It is outlined by tropical beaches, ancient villages of the Chamorros and ancient latte stones pillars located in Hagatna. Guam's historical sites include the village of Asan. In World War II, the Japanese entered the Asan area also known as the War in the Pacific National Historical Park in 1941. This was the actual battlefield! The battle between the ancient Chamorros and the Japanese moved further south of Guam. This battle lasted for three years. The Americans landed on Guam in July 21, 1944 and defeated the Japanese. Guam has been liberated for 73 years!
