Introduction
For this introduction you will be reading some poetry, listening to some poetry, and taking notes on poetry elements and terms needed to discuss, analyze, and write poetry.
Task
You will be visiting various sites. You should utilize ear buds when listening to the spoken word pieces. Keep all written answers to questions along with notes on a google doc that will be turned in later next week.
Process
Step One.
Read at least 15 different poem from Poetry 180.
For each poem, answer the following questions:
1. Who was the author
2. What is the subject of the poem
3. What are three poetic devices you noticed in the poem
4. What is the tone of the poem
5. What was the best line?
Step Two.
Listen to the following poems.
