Introduction
Our beautiful world is filled with many beautiful things.
Can you tell about different types of land?
Can you tell about different bodies of water and the living things that live in them?
Task
There are 4 tasks to complete.
- You will research a type of land or body of water.
- You will talk about what animals live on the land type you chose or in the body of water you chose.
- What would happen if the animals from that land or water type lived ina different land or water type?
- You will make a Diorama of the land or water type you chose.
Process
Step 1: Choose (1) land type or body of water type to research.

Step 2: Research your choice. Whatever land type or body of water type you choose, find out:
- What does that area look like.
- What animals or creatures live in that area.
- Why is this area good for people?
- What do people use from that area?
Step 3: In groups of 4-5 children, talk about what you learned.
A. Get a shoebox
B. Pick items from the art table to create your Diorama.
C. Be creative.
