Introduction
Over the past decade there has been a great deal of discussion over fats, are they bad for us? are they good? how much is good for us? It can get to be confusing and challenging to know what we should and shouldn't be eating in terms of fat. During this webquest we will in investigate the difference between good and bad fats and gain a better understanding of what foods we should avoid and what we should be adding to our daily diets.

- Understand of the four which ones are healthy and which ones are unhealthy and why
- Know foods that fall under each category of fat
- Know how monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats positively impact our body
- Understand how trans fats and saturated fats affect our bodies
- Understand some of the associated health risks with having a diet high in saturated and trans fats
Conclusion
Now we have a better understanding of the differences between the fats. We should understand that we want to cut back on saturated fats and be sure to avoid trans fats when possible and that including monounsaturated and polyunsaturated in the daily diet to promote healthy body functions. Like everything else it is ok to eat some of these things sometimes but everything in moderation. Hopefully you now have a better understanding of fats as well as some of the meal alternatives to cam make to increase healthy fats and reduce harmful fats.
