Introduction
A verb, from the Latin verbum meaning word, is a word that in syntax conveys an action, an occurrence, or a state of being.
Verbs are nothing but "Action words". Verbs tell you about the action that the subject is doing.
Task
- Compost a jingle using verb
- Frame sentences with verbs in them.
- Pick a paragraph from your English textbook and Underline the Action words.
- Underline the (Verbs) Action Words in the Sentences:
- 1) Raju eats green vegetables everyday.
- 2) We completed our assignments in time.
- 3) The girls ran fast.
Process
- Find an English books.
- Underline the Action words.
- Ask the question, "What is the subject doing?"
- Study the type of verb and verb phrase
- Understand the text and draw meaning out of it.

Conclusion
Actions speak louder than words. Learning Verbs will make students understand the importance of their own action. Making a verb performance is a way of helping students widen their knowledge about speech. It can help them to be aware about when and where they could use action words in the sentences.
