Introduction

Welcome to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. webquest. Throughout this quest you will learn about the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Dr.  Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American Baptist minister, activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement.  Martin Luther King Jr. was married to Coretta Scott King and had four children Martin Luther King, III, Dexter Scott King, Yolanda King, and Bernice King. Tragically, Dr. King was assasinated on April 4th, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. We will do this webquest to see what more we can learn about this very influential man.
