Introduction
We have studied Francophone cultures throughout the world and the products, practices, and perpsectives that belong to various cultures. However, what are the challenges to these societies? What are the issues that impact daily life for residents in francophone nations? How do politicians view these issues and use these big questions to convince voters that they would be the best leader for them.
Task
You will research various francophone politicians in the world to identify the most pressing issues today for individual countries and the francophone world. By the end of the webquest, you will be able to present connections between the francophone countries and whom you believe would be a positive leader for the country and a role model for the (francophone) world.
Process
Step 1: Identify what you believe are the most pressing issues in the world today. Add them to the mentimeter and view what your peers have contributed.
Step 2: Use the following links to research the politicians. For each politician, write down:
a. What is their current role? For how long?
b. What is their political party affiliation?
c. What are their top 3 priorities?

Step 3: Complete the table with the following information: unique issues for individual countries, issues for 3+ countries, solutions proposed by the politicians for the issues
Step 4: Choose one politician whom you believe would have a positive impact on the community based on their website. Create a slide with the politician's photo, a flag of their country, the name of their party, and three images showing the issues and the solutions (no words describing the issues or solutions).
Step 5: Present your findings (step 3 and 4) to your table.
