Making a WebQuest was a great way for all learning styles to utilize technology and to target instruction. I think this targeted all learning styles by allowing students to choose how they present their project but it also allowed them to pick what it was that they were exploring. It also makes the learners gain an understanding of other cultures, have a curious mind and share their own experiences thus making the environment cultural accepting. There are different ways of presenting the information to ensure that it is adaptable to suit different learners’ requirements. For any learner, I think it is important for them to take responsibility for their learning and this project did just that. Prior to this course, I had actually never heard of any applications like this so I am glad I had the opportunity to utilize something like this. I would absolutely consider using this next year when I move to Middle School.
