Introduction
You are planning to take a trip with friends to explore and learn about a new culture.
Before your travels, your group plans to conduct research online on the country and culture you plan to visit. This will better help you plan your trip and what to expect when you get there.

Task
Students will go on a virtual trip utilizing Google Earth and online sources. They will conduct research and gain valuable information on the country of their choice, enhancing cultural awareness and promoting diverse learning. Students are encouraged to have their own set of notes to share with their group members.
The group will then create a Google Slides presentation to showcase their research and understanding of the chosen country they visit virtually.
Each group will then give a presentation to the class.
Process
Each group will create a Google Doc of notes on the selected country, and then create a presentation with fellow group members. Students are encouraged to divide up work.
The presentation must include the following:
-
Title Slide
-
History and background of the country visited
-
Culture and common practices
-
Traditional dishes and food
-
Language
-
Spiritual and common religious beliefs
-
Conclusion
-
Reference Slide
Please keep in mind the style of APA 7th Edition format when creating slides.

Conclusion
One group member will share the Google Slide presentation to the specified instructor's email address.
Each group will present their slides, and while not presenting each student will write down a question for each group to be asked at the end of the presentations.
Students will also be encouraged to complete a survey to suggest better ideas for future WebQuests.
