• 3–4 points: Most facts are correct, but some details or explanations are missing or slightly unclear.

• 1–2 points: Several important facts are incorrect or key ideas are missing.

2. Comparison & Understanding (5 points)
 

• 4–5 points: You clearly explain the differences between spring and neap tides, including when and why each happens.

• 2–3 points: You mention the differences but do not fully explain why or when they occur.

• 1 point: You cannot tell the difference between the two types of tides.

3. Real‑World Connection (5 points)

• 4–5 points: You give at least 3 specific, relevant examples of how tides affect people and communities in the Philippines.

• 2–3 points: You give 1–2 examples that are somewhat related but not detailed or local.

• 1 point: You give no examples or examples that are not related.
