In this WebQuest, you will become a Water Protection Investigator. You will explore why clean water is important, investigate the causes of water pollution, and develop ways to help protect water resources in your community.
Task
Your task is to create a “Clean Water Awareness Campaign” for your school or community.
Your final product may be a digital poster, infographic, or short presentation.
Your campaign must include:
•A definition of water pollution
•At least three causes of water pollution
•At least three effects of water pollution
•An explanation of why clean water is important
•At least five ways students can help protect water
•Pictures, illustrations, or diagrams
•A short slogan encouraging people to protect water
•A list of the sources you used

Step 1: Learn About Water

Step 2: Investigate the Problem
Answer these questions:
