The Global Ocean Conservation Alliance has hired your team for a critical mission: investigate how plastic pollution affects ocean food webs and present an actionable, science-based solution to protect our oceans. Are you ready to take on the challenge?

Describe the Activity & End Product
In teams of 3–4, you will conduct online research to investigate plastic pollution. Each member will adopt a specific role:
- The Marine Biologist: Investigates how microplastics enter food chains and harm marine life.
- The Environmental Scientist: Examines oceanic currents, garbage patches, and ecosystem degradation.
- The Sustainable Engineer / Policy Innovator: Researches real-world technological or policy solutions to plastic waste.
End Product: Your team will synthesize your research and create a Digital Presentation (Google Slides, Canva, or PowerPoint) along with an Action Plan Proposal (1–2 pages) detailing a community or technological solution to reduce ocean plastic.
