Teacher Introduction:
This WebQuest is designed to help Pre-Kindergarten students understand and be able to recite the numbers 1-10. This will give them the practice on the first set of numbers so then they can move on and learn the next set.
Introduction: Hello students, today you will be learning how to count from 1-10. First, think about why we need to know numbers. Do we use them everyday? How important it is to know different numbers.
Your job here is to get different pieces of paper and a different number will be cut out of it. They will have to trace the number and say it out loud. After each one they will switch and get another until everyone has understand 1-10. By the end you will be able to recite and write out the numbers 1-10.
Follow step by step and you will be one step closer to beating the first round of numbers!
Here you will find a video of a counting song, make sure to start off by using this one first!
This activity has helped my students recognize and understand the first set of numbers and will be able to move up to the next!
Awesome Job Everyone! You now know the first set of numbers! Not only do you know how to read them, you also know how to write them with out any help. To be able to keep up with it so you can move onto another set of numbers, make sure to practice with someone! I am sure they will be so proud of how much you learned!
