Types of Sets
Objective: Students should be able to:
- define the term sets in their own words
- list the six types of sets
- define each type of set correctly
- give an example of each type of set
The teacher will first introduce the lesson by reviewing the main points of the previous lesson.
Teacher then states the topic and the objectives for the lesson.
Teacher goes through the PowerPoint presentation on sets with the students explaining each type and giving them an example of each type.
Teacher allows students enough time whereby they can copy notes
Students will also come up with a song in their group to remember the six types of sets.
The teacher will conclude the lesson by having students sit in group and come up with a song/poem to remember the types of sets.
Teacher will also instruct students to perform the evaluation that is available on Googleforms for homework.
The conclusion of the lesson would involve students sitting in their groups and composing a song or poem to remember the types of Sets.
