Parts of the Body
Description: The human body is made up of many different parts that carries out different functions. This webquest was created to educate students in grade 3 about the different parts of the body, what they can do and where on they can be found on the body. It will provides interactive activities for children to do and to build their knowledge about the different body parts. It will also provide a labelled picture of the body highlighting the key vocabulary and a video which reviews the different parts of the body and a song. Each activity is geared at evaluating the process of learning. It also allows students to express what they have learned about the body.
Grade: 3
Subject: Integrated Studies
Key Vocabulary: Hands, head, shoulder, knees, toes, eyes, ears, nose, fingers, and legs.

Task
Students will explore about the different parts of the body and the different things they can do and where they are located on the body.
They will also review information about parts of the body covered in class; and will play short games that will reinforce what was learned in class. By the end of the lesson student are expected to know the different parts of the body and their purpose or used. They will also know where on the body they are located/can be found.

Student you will become knowledgeable about the different parts of the body and their function; you will also know the correct name of the different body part.
Students you can now share the information you have learnt with other and encourage them to always use the correct name for each part of the body.
