Past simple tense is an important lesson for English language learners. Once students learn the past simple tense they can begin to talk about the things they did, the things they saw, and about other events that happened in the past.
First WARM-UP:
Talking about the past: When were you born?

Second: What is the Past Simple?
●Just add an '-ed' to the base form of the verb. For example:
walk → walked
play → played
talk → talked
●Add '-d' if the verb already ends in '-e' to the base form of the verb. For example:
love → loved
free → freed
bake → baked
