Introduction

This week you will prepare a webquest about a person in history. This webquest is for 16-17 years old students in high-school CLIL class and  pre-intermediate students. The class capacity is 30.

You are free to choose the person you want and prepare it by following the steps below. Students listen to a brief biography  about one of their chosen ones and focus on speaking, listening comprehension, grammar (simple past) and irregular verbs. At the end you will prepare a poster for the person you choose.

Task

You will work in groups of 3. Watch a video about past simple and a look at the irregular words in a detailed way.

Listen to Marie Curie's biography and answer to questions. 

Watch a video about Stephen Hawking and answer to questions.

Then, choose an inventor (Marie Curie or Stephen Hawking) prepare a poster about them. The most liked poster will be presented in the course.

You have 60 minutes to complete all the task.
