Introduction
-
Two-thirds, more than 190 million Americans are overweight or obese. This number continues to rise everyday because more and more school systems keep doing away with PE.
-
Obesity-related diseases are a $147 billion dollar medical burden every year.
-
Childhood obesity has tripled in the last thirty years.
- If we are such a fitness conscious country, why are we also the fattest country in the world? Cutting funding for Physical education programs is one of the absolute worse things we can do in this country. If we don't teach our children the benefits and different ways to stay active then our children are going to just add to the number of over weight or obese people in this country. How are they going to stay healthy during a world wide pandemic? What can we do to insure that people in our country, especially our children, have some knowledge as to what they can do to keep themselves in better physical condition? These questions will have the opportunity to be answered during your crusade for getting or staying physically fit during a world wide pandemic when schools and gyms are all closed
Task
In this exercise you will be responsible for researching the topic of Health Fitness and develop a workout program that is done without the use of weights. This will allow those that have never worked out to start at the beginner level and not worry about hurting themselves. This will also allow those that want to work out, but are either shy or embarrassed to workout in front of people.
Tasks you will develop:
-Strength fitness plan
-Cardiovascular fitness plan

There also needs to be one or two rest day built in each week, depending on what you goals are( more strength training or more cardio).

The questions 1 - 6 must be defined along with defining the 4 components of fitness.
A Strength Fitness Plan that covers two weeks with one or two rest days every week. Must have at least 10 exercises for a one day workout. Must have how many sets per exercise. Must have how many reps per sets.
A Cardio Fitness Plan that covers two weeks with one or two rest days every week. Must have at least 5 different cardio exercises for each day. Must have how many sets per exercise. Must have duration of each exercise per set if applicable.
