Process
TASK 1
You are going to do that by watching a video that describes and shows you the different phases of the moon
(click on the video to play)
Pay close attention to the video, because you are going to work on a worksheet after.
Now that you have learned the different phases of the moon, you and your partner are going to print and work on the worksheet provided.
(click on the link below)
If you need to you and your partner can watch the video again to help you.
Make sure you print and put your name and your partners name on the worksheet

You are going to make a foldable
You are going to print out the foldable provided down below.
You are going to cut and glue your foldable inside of your science journal.
Click on the link. This link will take you to another website that will help give you the definition.

You are going to label and define each term:
Gibbous, Lunar Eclipse, New Moon, Full Moon, Waxing, Eclipse, Waning, Cresent, First Quarter, and Last Quarter.
TASK 3
You are going to watch a video that describes what a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse are.
Click on the video
Now that you are an expert on solar and lunar eclipses!
In your science journals I want you to draw a solar eclipse and lunar eclipse.
Make sure you include the Sun, Moon, and Earth. (label each of them)
After you draw your different eclipses I want you to explain in your own words what the difference is and what happens.
Evaluation
You will be graded on the following:
20%- Completing each Task ( There are 3 tasks)

Total of 100%
Conclusion
CONGRATULATIONS!
You and your partner are the best Astronomers yet!
I am so glad all of your hard work has paid off, you both worked so hard and now are well educated about the moon phases and the different eclipses. Now when you look at the moon you will know exactly what you are looking at. I cannot wait to see your science journals and see how much you have learned.
