Introduction
In this WebQuest you will do exercises in how to help the process of photosynthesis.
Understanding how photosynthesis works in all plant life is essential to be able to understand how humans get oxygen. First you will hypothesize how you think the photosynthesis process plays through. Then you will be creating a picture diagram of how plants process the suns energy into food with explanantions of the process. '
Here are the Indiana State Standards that are being used for this activity:
B.2.1 Use a model to illustrate how photosynthesis transforms light energy into stored chemical energy.
Task
First, you will explain in your own words how the suns energy is first brought into a plant.
Second, you will do research and find photos or any diagram of your choice to go with or against your words.
Last, you will create a diagram proving if your hypothesis is correct or incorrect.
Process
First, adventure into this webpage and complete the activity that will help you go farther into depth of your explanantion.

Next, write down your hypothesis and compare with the virtual game.
Example: My hypothesis matches the order that I put into the game.
With a partner of your choice, go over the steps you used in the virtual game. What could you have done differently in order to get the answers in order properly? Write your hypothesis on a piece of paper and analyze with your partner.
Example: I could have switched the water with the oxygen.
Evaluation
With the whole class we will be discussing everyone's hypothesis's and the real photosynthesis process.
Everyone will group up and present their best hypothesis and diagram of the photosynthetic process, be sure to show a detailed analysis and photos of your groups work.
Conclusion
Now that you have completed today's activities, we will quiz and go furthur into your knowledge of ho the suns energy can be transferred into food in a plant through photosynthesis.
