This webquest has been created to find out about Picasso's life.

Task
To complete this webquest you must do the following tasks:
- Answer some questions about Picasso's life.
- Make a timeline using the information from the previous task and a webpage
- You will again use the internet to identify the names of some of Picasso's paintings.
- Finally, you will try copy one of Picasso's famous paintings.

Task 1 - Find out some basic information about Picasso
1.1 What was Picasso's complete name and surname(s)?

1.3 Which was his father's profession?
1.4 When he was 16 he moved to Madrid, where did he study?
1.5 What are the names of the 2 painting periods he experimented with at the beginning of the 20th century?
1.6 What is the name of the artistic style he created with his partner Jacques Braque?
1.7 Could you name 2 paintings of this period?
1.8 What is the name of his most famous anti-war painting?
1.9 Why did he choose the name of a basque town for this work?
1.10 In which country did he spend most of his adult life?

Task 2 - make a timeline using the information from the previous task
Use the information from the questions in task 1 to make a timeline showing the most important events in Picasso's life.
