Picking Pumpkins


We are going to learn all about the life cycle of a pumpkin and what they need to survive! We will learn how the pumpkin starts with a small seed and grows to be what you use to make your Halloween jack-o-lanterns! 


You are going to watch a video about the life cycle of the pumpkin and explore a webpage about the life cycle of a pumpkin.  When you are done, you will be asked to draw, label, and write about the pumpkin life cycle and turn it in.

On a blank piece of paper, draw the pumpkin life cycle.  After drawing, label the steps to the best of your ability.  After you label the whole cycle, pretend you are teaching to a classmate and write complete sentences to describe the pumpkin life cycle..  Bring this paper back to school with you tomorrow.
