It’s Pongal!
Pongal is the harvest festival of South India. It is celebrated for four days, and it starts on January 14th or 15th.
During Pongal, people wear new clothes, clean and decorate the houses with kolams and cook ‘Pongal’, a sweet dish made of rice, milk and sugar.
