Prepositional and adverb phrase.

Introduction

With the help of this webquest we will discover what is an adverb and prepositional phrase, remembering what are the adverbs and prepositions and the difference between them.

Task

1. See the pictures and try to guess what adverb or preposition you would use to form a phrase. After that divide it in adverbs or prepositions.

2. Make a sentence using an adverb or a preposition and then line it.

Process

In the first activity you, as a student, have to see the pictures that the teacher will show you in class and write a phrase using adverbs or prepositions. After that you will have to divide them in adverbs or prepositions.

The second activity is similar to the first one, but you have to write the phrase and then analyse it showing what part would be the prepositional or adverb phrase.

Conclusion

English is one of the most used languages in the word and one of the most important. It's really important that the students learn how to speak and write in English correctly.

With this activity the students learn new knowledge that will help them in the future to make complex texts.
