This WebQuest is designed to help middle and high school students explore various aspects of the culture of Rome when it was a Republic and an Empire. Instead of history's actual sack of Rome by the Visigoths in the 3rd century CE, this time 5-man scouting teams will be sent out to infiltrate and gather data about how the Romans live and work. Such reconnaissance will help the Visigoths better understand their enemy before they proceed with any type of conquest.
