Introduction
Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens in Columbia, SC is one of America's best zoos. It is home to more than 2,000 magnificent animals and one of the nation’s most beautiful botanical gardens.
Task
You entered a contest on the radio and won an all-expense paid trip to Riverbanks Zoo & Garden with your friends. The bus will drop you off at 11:00am when the zoo opens. You will be picked up at 2:00pm to depart back to school. You want to make the most of your day.
In your itinerary, you must include at least two of these attractions in your schedule:
- Sea Lion Demonstration at 10:30am (20 minutes)
- The Gorilla Feeding at 1:30pm (15 minutes)
- Penguin Presentation at 11:30am (15 minutes)
Don’t forget to schedule time for lunch and snack breaks (Remember, the radio station is paying, so it's all free!). You will want to give yourself 30 minutes to enjoy a meal at any of the restaurants in the zoo. Make sure to meet the bus back at the entrance to the zoo by 2:00.
