I wanted to give you some time to explore physics online. We will continue with our projects soon but for today take some time to look at these sites and answer these questions.
Process
1. Go to http://www.funderstanding.com/educators/coaster/
Take some time to become familiar with your options - use the tabs on the side to add hills and loops, change the gravity, change friction and see what happens.
Complete the questions on the handout.
2. Go to http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/physics-of-football.htm/printable
Read the information and answer the questions on the handout.
3. If you have extra time you can choose to play with PhysicsClassroom, Little Alchemy or the dollar coaster game.
