Art Investigation

Introduction

The millionaire Elmer J Fudd wants his entire collection of art insured!  As an investigator for the Acme Insurance Company you discover that all of his collection was stolen from various museums!

Task

Acme Insurance has a list of the masterpieces stolen along with the artists who created them.   You and your collegues must find where each painting was stolen.

Process
  • You and your fellow investigators will each be assigned missing masterpieces.
  • You must identify the museum, collection, or place this work was stolen from.
  • You will receive an Investigation Report form to fill out.
  • Information to be included in your report: Artist- name, life span, birthplace, nationality; Artwork - title, medium, size, date, style; Owner - museum, collection, or place plus the city/state/country; References - websites and their URLs where you gathered your information and any books or magazines used.
  • You must submit this report by the deadline.
Evaluation
  • Report submitted by deadline
  • Report neatly and completely filled out
  • Correct information
  • Correct spelling of information
  • Resources easy to check

You will receive 5 points for each area of the Investigation Report filled in neatly and correctly.  This includes verification and three references.  You will also receive 5 points for meeting the deadline.
