Introduction
You are part of a group that has been chosen to help a family that is new to the area. The family has moved from Italy to the USA. You and your group will help the family by creating a five-day dinner menu based on a popular food program and also create a grocery list from your menu for the family.
You can add some ingredients to the meal or even some more meals from your favorite. But don't forget to add them to the shopping list.
You will watch this program and research several grocery stores to see which store has the best prices (unit rates) for each item on your list and please don't forget to share the information with the family.
Your group will have a budget to work with and you must not go over the budget!

Task
Your will:
- create a five-day dinner menu
- create a grocery list from the menu created
- research several stores for costs of individual items (meat, fish, and vegetables)
- figure out the total cost for the whole shopping
- determine which is the best and create a presentation for the family
The skills used to complete this project will be the skills you will use as you get older. You will need to know how to shop for great deals to help you save money when you move out on your own! This project will help you to see how to work with a budget and shop for deals.

WATCH THE VIDEO
STEP 2
- MAKE NOTES WITH MEALS NAMES,
- choose what will you use for the family menu
- watch it again and write down all the ingredients from the cooking recipes that you chose
STEP 3
create a table or family menu as you like where you can write all the names of the dishes for the family
STEP 4
make a shopping list with all ingredients they will need to prepare these dinners for 5 days
But first, go to the sites and choose which shop is the best for shopping for food (price)
(make notes in your shopping list with prices from these stores)
