The Olympic games are a way of a country showing of its pride through thier most athletic citizens. The olympics first started around 776 BC in Olympia, Greece. There were much fewer games than now and was much smaller, today there are 35 sports and nearly 400 events.

Task

We will be analysing the data for the men's and women's cross county cycling for the years 2004, 2008, and the 2012 summer Olympic games. Over this section of learning we will record, analyze, and graph the top three times for the three most recent cross country Olympic cycling competitions for both the men's and women's competition. There will be three steps to completing these tasks and a small essay. The graphs will show how the times have changed over the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympic games and I am having you write an essay to ask you what you have learned from taking this data.
