Conclusion

Many objected to America’s interventionist policy. Such people felt sending U.S. troops into a foreign country that did not pose an immediate military threat to U.S. citizens was inappropriate. Additionally, many objected to the war on ethical grounds.

North Vietnamese use traps/blending into the civilian's which the Americans could not see or shoot because of the civilian.

The Problem was China and the Soviet Union helping the North Vietnamese against the South and the French/United States. The United had to deal with this during Korean war trying to get North Korea away from the 38 Parallel. China was afraid that the United States will cross the border into China or get real close, which the United States did get close to China that's why the Chinese Army jumped across the border sending us back.
