Speaking Details
Total Questions 3 Parts
Part 1 Introduction and Interview (4-5 mins)
Part 2 Long Turn – Asked to speak at length on a given topic (3-4 mins)
Part 3 Discussion on a familiar topic (4-5 mins)

Task 1

In part 1, the examiner will first introduce themselves and ask you to confirm your own identity. They will then ask you some general questions on familiar topics such as home, family, work, studies and interests. For example:

Do you like watching movies?

What is the last book you read? And did you like it?

How often do you read a book?

Task 2 

Now, have a look at the card and prepare a monologue.

Part 2

Describe a book or film that had a strong impact on you? You should say:

  • When you read or sow it?
