This WebQuest places students in the role of curator for a new "Pennsylvania Tourism Museum." Throughout the WebQuest hey will learn about landmarks, regions, and cities of Pennsylvania in order to provide important information to the new museum. This WebQuest's intention is to teach children about the state of Pennsylvania. Through this WebQuest, students will have to identify landmarks throughout the state, find pictures of them, and find 3 facts for each as well. They also have to research the largest cities (by population) and the regions in which these cities are located. This lesson is intended to give 4th grade students a better understanding of the state in which they live so they complete the WebQuest with more knowledge about the major areas and sites throughout Pennsylvania than they had prior to entering it.
