Introduction
Why was six scared of seven?
Because Seven ATE (eight) Nine.
LOL, what does that have to do with properties?
Task
SO... I recently over heard several of you in a conversation, speaking about how you wish Ms. Fleming would just stop talking so much and let us do the work.
WISH GRANTED!
You all are now the teachers and since you are awesome, intelligent, and entertaining. You will work in pairs to find a creative way to teach your peers in this class about math properties.
You can create a SMART Board lesson, PowerPoint, Prezi, poster, rap, or anything thing that will get lesson across.
Search online to:
1. Define the property (making sure that all the students remember the difference between the properties).
2. Show how the property is used to solve equations and expressions.
Process
- Step 1: Define Property
- Find Characteristics
- Find Examples
- Find Non-examples
- Step 2: Get Creative
- Design the presentation you will use to teach about the property.
- Step 3: Make it a Lesson
- Create one worksheet for the class.
- Create one exit slip (4 questions)
- Make sure you provide some homework.

Conclusion
This WebQuest was designed for you to explore the different mathematical properties. You were able to discover how properties are used to solve equations and simplify expressions.
It is very important that each student reviews their notes daily.
