Technology is always changing at rapid rates; especially in the last 100 years. We went from waiting days, even months, to hear from friends and family to now instantly communicating in seconds. With this huge change in technology it has a large effect on culture and society. It has created changes in which some are positive, while others are negative.
In this webquest you will be examining the following question in which we will be having a socratic seminar on:
Has the technology revolution changed culture?
There are many different ways of discussing this question such as
- cultural changes in specific countries
- positive and/or negative changes
- culture actually influences technology
- social changes
Task
You will be examining a few websites and videos about how technology affects culture. You will need to create some notes on each resource, to help you answer the question:
