Introduction
Imagine yourself in your class during lecturing and you can hear and see your teacher clearly, but you begin to observe your teacher carefully and to listen to every word he says. You later look directly in his mouth as he speak and to your surprised you saw at least four decaying teeth. It's no big deal you say, maybe its just some chocolate. But after school you decided to do some research to find out more about the issues and the causes of tooth decay. So you approach your teacher head on as he leaves the class just to see if what you saw was true.
As you walk home from school you started thinking, what could be cause of tooth decay and what could be the cause of my teachers tooth decay? Then you say to yourself will this happen to me in the long run.

You are now required to complete a mini research on the structure of the teeth, how we used our teeth to cut and tear meat, how to prevent cavity and how to keep our teeth healthy. As you search in groups of four, furthermore you required to visit various web site to fine out important information on the teeth. A video is provided, you are required watch as it is in relation to the structure and arrangement of teeth.

Now in your groups use the video to compare between the different types of teeth, what cause tooth decay and how to prevent cavity build up.

Process

- First, the teacher will engage in a lesson on the structure of the teeth with the aid of a power point moreover each student is responsible for knowing the parts of the teeth and also the types there is.
- Teacher will continue the lesson with use of the power point on THE FUNCTION OF THE TEETH. in this student should be able to understand the way in which we use our teeth

Each group will be given a specific job to do, each student in their groups will choose a tooth of their own liking and the draw that tooth and present on that particular tooth. after that is completed teacher will have students complete a test exercise.

This is a project designed for a grade 6-8 science class. This project also include the biological aspect on the structure of the human teeth. Furthermore this project focuses on the function of the teeth, the structure, the different types of teeth and the factors with affect the teeth. All these area however to help students to understand that each tooth plays different role and that they are affect by many different things. The project also look at the possible ways that a tooth can be infected and how it can be treated.
The duration of this project least for two hours where the student are required to do specific thing to develop their understanding on the topic the teeth. during this time student will be engaging in discussion, presentation and also a test to determine whether or not student grasp the content.
