Introduction
Have you ever dreamed about toys talking with each other? One guy with an infinite imagination made this come true in cinema. This is a story about a courageous cowboy, a heroic spaceman, a grumpy potato head, a gentle dinosaur and a loyal slinky dog having the adventures of their lifetime. Now I want you to join the fun.
Task
In this task students will do various activities collaboratively, using their imaginations to answer the questions. Then they will discuss their answer in groups. They will also write short reviews about the movie.
Process
Before answering these questions, make sure you have watched the movie!
Step 1
- Put yourself in Andy's shoes. What would you do if you were aware of your toys can talk and move?
- Which toy is your favorite from the movie? Explain why?
- Would you want your toy to speak to you?
- What would you want to become? A cowboy or a spaceman?
Step 2
- Talk about the concepts of friendship, teamwork and jealousy.
- Which elements are important in teamwork. Please discuss.
Step 3
- Write a review about the movie.
- Try to draw a picture of your favorite character.
