Introduction
Welcome to some of UK's most famous brands! Many of them are known around the globe while others are better known inside the UK, but they have one thing in common - they are all "Superbrands", trusted and respected by UK consumers!
Task
Your objective for this webquest is to present one of UK's most famous brands to the class. During this project you will learn about some famous brands in the UK and you will learn how to give an oral presentation.
Research the brand you have chosen on the Internet to find out some more:
- When was it established? By whom?
- What is so good with it in comparison to similar products?
- What is the most popular Swedish equivalent product?
- Why is it among the most popular brands in the UK?
- Can you find any criticism towards the brand? Any ethical dilemmas?
- Can you find out where, how and by whom it is produced and sold today?
- What about the company's environmental policy?
- What do you think about the product (based on your research)?
- Any additional information that might be interesting?
Your oral presentation should be no longer than five minutes and you should use a google presentation or prezi with pictures to support your presentation.

- Sign up for the brand you choose so as to avoid duplications in class.
- Start researching the brand you have chosen by visiting their website to find answers to the questions below.
- Continue to gather facts about your brand on other websites.
- Start preparing your oral presentation based on your research.
- Please use the evaluation chart below and the knowledge requirements on the next page as guidelines for what to think about when preparing your presentation.
- Rehearse your presentation and use the questions in the chart below to evaluate your performance.
- Time for peer review! Let a friend listen to your presentation and give you some feedback using the evaluation form below.
