* Focuses on the theory and practice of utilizing new technology to develop and implement innovative educational approaches to learning and student achievement.
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
*Enables information to be compressed on small storage that will be preserved and transported.
DIGITAL TOOLS
* These are programs, websites or online resources that makes the task easier.
ONLINE DIGITAL TOOLS
* these are programs,websites, applications, and other internet and computerized resources that facilitate, enhance and execute digital processes.
OFFLINE DIGITAL TOOLS
* these are software applications and tools that could still work and function in the absence of of internet connection.
Examples of these are:
• Canary learning- it is a grading tool that is used by educators and checks assignments of learners on offline mode.
• Pocket- user for saving reading materials for that purpose of reading it offline mode.
• Evernote- this app will allow you to take note important details, save and even documents.
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY
* aims to provide effective learning through the use of digital or online technology instruction,as well as the tools used to facilitate course design, communication, research and interaction.
SOFTWARE
• it is a collection of instructions that tells a computer how to perform tasks, including scripts and applications.
MULTIMEDIA
• Multimedia content incorporates a mixture of different elements such as text ,audio , images, animations, video and interactive elements, making it a diverse form of communication.
INTERNET
• is a global network connects computers, allowing users to communicate and share data including emails.
