We are going to explore more about the way in which Earth's systems are connected! For this lesson you will be exploring the ways in which water is cycled through Earth's systems by the sun and gravity.

To complete this task you must watch the videos, read the linked materials, and finally create your own model to bring to class to demonstrate what you have learned!

Review all of the information provided on this page to gain a better understanding of evaporation, sublimation, transpiration, precipitation, and water storage.

Try the quiz multiple times until you score 100%! Write down the answers and bring them to our next class period.

Time to have some fun! Use your knowledge of the water cycle to play The Water Cycle Game! https://www.brainpop.com/games/watercyclegame/ Explore how water molecules move through Earth's systems, and try to manipulate where the water will go. Come to class ready to talk about how the game went.

Congratulations! You are now a water cycle expert!

Your final assignment is to create a model of the water cycle and bring it to class. Your model can be in the form of a:

1. 3D model

2. Detailed illustration

3. Written story

Be sure to include the following steps of the water cycle in your model: precipitation, condensation, evaporation, transpiration, and water storage.
