Introduction

Every dreamed of hosting your own sports tournament?

At the end of this semester our school will be hosting an intermural water polo tournament. Your team will be the host!

You will be responsible setting up the games, leading workshops and referee the games.

LET's GET STARTED!

Task

Create an online shared document which presents

  1. the history of water polo

  2. boundary field of play explanation

  3. the game & basic rules

  4. eggbeater kick, dribbling, pass & catch

  5. design a water polo drill including the basic skills: swimming with ball, pass & catch a ball, egg beater kick

Process

2. Create a shared google slide which presents...

  1. the history of water polo

  2. the basic rules of water polo

  3. tips & trick for passing and catching

  4. egg beater kick

  5. design a water polo drill including the basic skills: swimming with ball, pass & catch a ball, egg beater kick

 

3. Each student in your group is responsible for 1 slide in the shared document. 

Divide the tasks in your group. 

 

4. Name your project - Water polo: History, basic rules and skills (last name group members)

 

5. Post your link in the assignment on our CANVAS online classroom.

Evaluation
Conclusion

Prior to your first water polo class review the work of the other groups and give constructive feedback using the peer evaluation in CANVAS, our online classroom.
