Introduction
You've attended every class, studied every night, and met with your professor several times. Yet here you are on test day, and you are extremely nervous. What happened?
The good news is, you're not alone. No, you're not weak because you are full of anxiety.
Test anxiety can happen to anyone. Studies show that 87% of students experience some form of test anxiety, regardless of how much they prepare. And maybe the other 13% are a bunch of liars.
So, what can we do about it? Are we destined to live in fear of an exam that we have every reason to feel confident about?
Thankfully, we are not. This WebQuest will help you research facts about test anxiety and provide essential information on how to overcome test anxiety.
Task
As mentioned in the Introduction, the goal of this WebQuest is for you to research facts about test anxiety, provide essential information about it, and learn how to overcome test anxiety.
For this exercise, you and your partners are student counselors. Your task is to create a short video (3-5 minutes) to share with other students, who are going to take an important exam.
The purpose of the video you create is to help other students learn what test anxiety is, what its common causes are, how it can impact their academic performance, and how to overcome it.
You may use any video editing software in order to accomplish this. However, the majority of the video must include you (and your partners) communicating in English.
You may use any format of dialogue in order to fulfill the task (consider monologues, interpersonal dialogues, roleplay/conversations, etc.).
Process
As mentioned in the Task description, you must create a short video (3-5 minutes) to share with other students, who are about to take an important exam.
The video must cover the following key elements:
Using the above resources, or finding other resources, create the content needed for your video.

As mentioned in the Task section, you may use any format of dialogue in order to complete the task. You could use a mix of dialogue types in order to communicate your message - consider using a mix of monologues, interpersonal dialogues, roleplay/conversations, or different types of media in order to convey your message.
To facilitate organization, you may wish to divide your video into sections, corresponding with the four "questions" that you must answer in order to complete the activity.
If it is unclear to you how to proceed at any point in this process, don't hesitate to me.
When you have finished your video, send it to my e-mail.

Conclusion
Congratulations! As a student counselor, you managed to create a valuable resource for other students. In doing so, you helped them join the 13% of students who don't have to worry about test anxiety anymore. Or at least you have given them a shot at joining the 13%!
And perhaps you were a member of that 87% before participating in this exercise? Odds are that you were. The good news is that you are now more prepared than ever to manage test anxiety.
Come to think of it...is test anxiety the ONLY kind of anxiety that exists?
Of course not. Each and every day, we are faced with problems and challenges that make us worried and anxious about the outcome.
Not so coincidentally, the knowledge that we have gained from this exercise not only helps you in managing test anxiety, but also other forms of situational anxiety that you confront on a regular basis.
Congratulations on completing this WebQuest!
